Shredded Chicken Teriyaki Wraps
NEED:
Boneless Chicken
Teriyaki Sauce *P.F. Changs*
Cabbage *Organic Shredded green & Red Cabbage with orange carrots*
Pineapple
Wrap *Mission Garden Spinach Herb*
- Foil
FYI: All items I found at Walmart with the exception of the cabbage which I found at Trader Joes!
STEPS:
After chicken is thawed, cut up and begin cooking on stove. I season my chicken with *Onion powder *Garlic Salt *Lemon *coconut oil.
Once chicken is done, let cool for 10 minutes.
Place chicken in bowl (I use my kitchen aid) you can use a regular mixture or shred how you prefer. Once in bowl begin mixer on low speed until shredded to desire.
Once chicken is shredded add back in pan on stove and add your desired sauce, & mix. This is usually about 4-5 minutes of mixing and getting the chicken saturated!
Lay out foil and place your wrap, fill with chicken, cabbage and pineapple!
TIP: Place the pineapple between the cabbage and chicken so your wrap stays firm.
I like to eat these cold! They are perfect for being busy and on the go! The foil makes them easy to eat and not get soggy.
Enjoy!
QUICK REMINDER-
I feel like we complicate being healthy and making healthy meals! That's why so many people don't! I get people who will comment that they wish they could make good healthy food and meal prep like me... YOU CAN!! I mean I am guilty of that, making excuses and giving up! When I first started meal prepping years ago, I gave up multiple times because I thought it was "to hard" and too expensive. It's not too hard, it doesn't take too long and it actually saves you money!! You will find yourself more successful with long term goals if you continue to make easy, quick meals that you look forward to. I hate not looking forward to my meals! Like HELLO ya girl LOVES to eat. But I want to fuel my body with goodness while enjoying the taste. Healthy food can be so delicious, you just gotta stop making it so dang complicated and TRY new things.
Easy Peasy!
