Spartan Race Proposal

Ok- can we just all give Phil a round of applause for pulling this one off??!! I've known this kid for years and he reached out to me to capture this special moment for him and I just couldn't say no. The opportunity to capture a proposal at the Spartan race was too good to be true.

They had just finished an exhausting couple of hours that were mentally, physically and emotionally challenging...he also managed to not lose the ring through all those obstacles!! I mean REALLY!? Gods hands were truly in this. Although I was so stoked for that MOMENT, my hands were honestly shaking, and I was a stress case...I mean YOU GET ONE CHANCE to get it right! THE PRESSURREEEEE was onnnnn! 

I was determined to get this, and thank you universe because it was on my side.

It had been randomly pouring down rain and then cleared up a few minutes before these love birds came running to the finish. As they finished up their last obstacle, I rushed to find the best spot. Phil was contemplating where to make his move and you could tell Nicole had not a clue what was coming...

They hugged at the finish for a few minutes and she just collapsed in his arms out of exhaustion, it was unbelievably romantic.... then we all saw him start to kneel and pull out that little black box. She let out the biggest smile and just melted in shock, it was such a beautiful moment to capture. Literally everyone in the stands were teary, and covered in chills. If we are all so lucky to be able to find our forever love, it truly is something magical....
